CURRICULUM

  • School shall provide C.B.S.E. New Delhi based curriculum.

  • The medium of instruction is English.

  • Punjabi and Hindi are taught as compulsory subjects.

  • The school has adopted audio-visual aids as an important part of education and computer literacy is provided from beginning.

  • Curriculum is based on play-way methods at primary level. The classrooms are well equipped with educational charts, models, toys and other learning aids.

  • The scientific and innovative methodologies of teaching support the curriculum.

CO-CURRICULAR AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

It is mandatory for all the students to participate in various activities organized by the school. This will help bring out the innate talent and potential and to develop the art of public speaking, creativity, organizational abilities, self-confidence, team spirit and competence.

RULES, REGULATIONS AND DISCIPLINE

  1. Student have to come to school in time. Students abstaining from school must send an application signed by their parents.

  2. Every student must be habitually clean and neatly dressed; hair must be well groomed and cut properly.

  3. School uniform must be worn on all school days and functions. Students are strictly forbidden not to leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the Principal.

  4. Students are liable for a stringent action for disobedience and disrespect to the member of the staff or any abusive language used.

  5. Students must not drop pieces of paper around school premises and must not throw their belongings (books, pencils etc.) here and there.

  6. All necessary articles for the day’s work including diary should be brought every day.

  7. At all times and all places each student is bound to observe the rules of good manners both inside and outside the school. Shouting, whistling, throwing anything at others and other such unmannerly conduct are strictly prohibited.

  8. No student shall scratch or spoil the desks and chairs or damage things belonging to other students, deliberate damage or breakage caused to school property by a child has to paid by the parents.

SCHOOL MEDICAL CARE

There is always be a well equipped “First Aid” box in the school and teachers are trained to deal with minor injuries and ailments. A regular medical check-up and a comprehensive record of the student’s health is maintained.

SCHOOL TRANSPORT

The school provides transport facility to all students on request, subject to feasibility. An application should be submitted to the school office for availing and withdrawing the transport facility.

SESSION

  • The new session begins in the first week of April and ends by the third week of March every year.

  • Each Child is evaluated on the basis of continuous comprehensive evaluation.

TIMINGS

Summer (April to October)                     –                       8:00 am. to 4:00 pm.

Winter (November to March)                –                       9:00 am. to 4:00 pm.
